De 22-jarige Roemeen Edward Maya had een beetje een suffige start in de muziekbusiness. Op z’n negentiende produceerde hij de Roemeense inzending voor het Eurovisie Songfestival, maar de ervaring was natuurlijk super handig en Edward Maya begon al snel aan de weg te timmeren. Vorig jaar mocht hij een album voor Akcent produceren, een grote band in Roemenië die je waarschijnlijk nog kent van de single ‘Kylie’. Edward vond het nu tijd om zelf eens in de schijnwerpers te gaan staan en dat doet hij zeker met ‘Stereo Love’.
De eveneens Roemeense Viki Juliana vroeg hij als zangeres. In o.a. Griekenland, Rusland, Polen, Egypte, Spanje, Italië en Turkije gingen ze al helemaal los op deze track.
